Mary Clark is an artist born in Akron, Ohio. She graduated from the Myers School of Art at The University of Akron in 2016 with her BFA in Ceramics and minor in Jewelry and Metalsmithing. She currently resides in the Highland Square neighborhood of Akron, Ohio and has been in the area her whole life. Mary is an avid lover of cute things and pets, owning one cat herself. She expresses her personality through bright spring colors and cute patterning, often featuring aggressive phrases as a harsh contrast. She works both functionally and sculpturally and intends to continue in both formats. She has exhibited her functional work regionally, and hopes to further exhibit her work in galleries and art festivals both in the area and throughout the country. Currently she is focusing on Ohio area arts/craft festivals.
